help with wood floor scratch?

the puds at home depot told me not to use a wax to blend it in (as all my friends told me to do); I just bought a "touch up" pencil and it looks ok but is there anything else I could do? Scratches are somewhat deep but dont look that bad;definately noticeable on a somewhat dark wood floor.

I had the same problem and bought a can of wax, and it seemed to do the trick. Just make sure you get the color right.

Deep scratches may look a little funny if the color isn't exact. But it looks a helluva lot better than a big whitish scratch in the floor.

The wax did wonders for my floor. I may actually get my security deposit back now.
