I have IE 6.0 and I have an odd glitch.
Sometimes, maybe every other time after I visit "hornfans" I got to myyahoo or another page and my text is LARGE so I have to go into my "view" then "text size" section and change it to med......

anyone else have this problem? it only happens when I leave hornfans..........

My hubby is a web developer and he's not sure either.............

Happens to me sometimes, but not as often as you are saying. Usually only once or twice a month.

no idea what causes it. (I usually notice it after going to IMDB.com, not hornfans)

It's called a "Browser Re-Direct". Part of small hijack of your browser. There will be a plethora (Three Amigos word) of advice to quit using IE because it's so easy to hijack and re-direct. IE is very vulnerable to these sorts of things unless you really set your security to the right levels, especially as it concerns ActiveX. But, I digress ...

You really should download Ad-Aware from Lavasoft, as well as all the Plug-ins. It will scan your system and find most of your problems to clean up. That's the first step.

There is also another program you should get called HiJack This. Free, just like Ad-Aware. HiJack This is a little more complicated to understand in that it makes you choose what to delete and the education curve of what to delete can be daunting for some.

But if you're gonna use IE - then you really do have to protect yourself with these various third party crapware and spyware tools to clean up after IE.

Good Luck.

Not sure what might be changing your font size, but if you have a wheel mouse you can avoid going through the menus to fix it.

Hold down the <ctrl> key and spin your mouse wheel. Up to shrink text, down to enlarge it.

I have virus protection and zonealarm pro.... guess I can still get hijacked by ad ware......
I'll give that a shot.....

thanks.

G-dammit...until I read this thread this had never happened..so I go to Yahoo and ****, there it is

Antivirus and firewalls only protect you from hacker attacks, virii, etc. They do virtually nothing for adware/spyware.
