Help me solve an argument

Larry Csonka is quite possibly the most underrated RB to ever play the game.

Dude was just solid, and brought it on every play of every game.

I've never really cared much for Riggins mainly because I have been a Cowboy fan since birth. I have to admit, though, that he was a very good RB.

I'm going to say that Csonka wins but mainly because Riggins had one of the most dominant OL's in the history of the NFL.

Riggins, easily. Csonka was a head case with his little WFL stint. And it would have been hard for him to be considered a "feature" back.

Uhh, didn't Riggins leave the Jets for a WFL stint as well?

I would have to look at the stats, but would vote for Riggins due his production over a longer period of time.

Csonk was a badass, though

Riggins, based on him getting hammered and telling former United Suprme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor to "loosen up, Sandie baby."

If I'm taking them in their prime, I go Csonka. He rushed for over 1,000 yards three times in the 14 game season, while Riggins only did it once. He also has a better career yards per carry. In fact, in his two best seasons, he averaged over 5 y/a, a great number for a FB that Riggins never even came close to.

Now, in terms of longevity and getting it done throughout a career, Riggins obviously wins for what he did with Washington, while Csonka dropped off pretty dramatically.
