Help me indentify a pesky bug.

I thought I would check with fellow Hornfans as you guys always seem to have the answers. This bug and probably a hundred of his friends have decided to make their home in our pantry. One day there were two or three of them and then boom, a hundred! Anyone have any clue what it might be?

I've heard of people getting bug infestations from eggs in bags of potatoes

It is called, Indrid Cold or a Mothman who has a prophecy. Are your lips dry?

look for some fruit, vegetables, grain, bread, cereal or potatoes that are bad in the pantry.

Hide your sweaters.

Check your oatmeal or any other food container that may have not been fully sealed. You'll find one that's crawling with larvae, pupae and adults. Once you get rid of that you can control the ones who escaped.

I had the exact problem in a biology classroom a few years back. Once I found the container I had the moth problem under control in 2 days.

crazy..... I thought moth was too easy of a guess. They look much smaller to me. I will check the food in the pantry and see what I can find. Thanks for the help.

I have seen Bird Seed, Grains, and Unshelled Almonds carry them

Well Sangre had it nailed. I went in to check the pantry this morning and found an old open box of Cheerios that had been taken over by these little guys. Larvae, pupea, adults, all having a party in there. I appreciate every ones help. Glad I was able to locate them, it would have been quite the surprise for my kiddos to pour some old Cheerios into their bowl!
