Who would've thought Bucknell and Tulane in the winners bracket after day 1...

Looks like OSU might get justice served after all.

Florida had a big lead, and it looked like they got overconfident. FSU looked like someone had shrunk their uniforms - that was the tightest team I've ever seen. All the talk about how the late season collapses were a thing of the past, this was a different team, we can handle anything, meant nothing when they stepped on the field. Mike Martin starting his 4th or 5th best pitcher showed how he felt about Bucknell. If FSU plays tomorrow like they did today, Tulane could easily be in the Super Regional next week.

Gotta like Tulane right now, their pitching is set up whereas whoever they play (likely Florida State) is going to have some serious pitching issues. Florida State has had pitching problems the entire regional and I can't see them getting it together to take two from Tulane (assuming Florida State beats Bucknell this time).

True not a big advantage, and after seeing the onslaught that Florida State put on Bucknell just a little while ago I would be a little nervous if I was Tulane. Still it is tough to win two in a row with depleted pitching, hopefully the Horns can do it, and the Noles obviously have a shot with that insane offense of theirs.

Well Nole, maybe I shouldn't have doubted FSU, they are taking care of Tulane tonight which I am sure you are pleased to see!

The big question is Tulane going to throw Shooter Hunt out there today? He is their ace and future 1st round pick but threw 99 pitches on friday. They dont have anybody else left.

Well the Noles got to Shooter in the 4th for 6. Gotta hand it to FSU their pitching held up and is shining so far today, whereas Shooter appeared to lose "it" after already pitching this weekend.
(Good call Nole).
