This made my day so far. I live in a townhome right next to there and can walk to the store. This is so awesome from a convenience and property value perspective for me. More proof at how much more awesome Inner Loop living is becoming. Take that suburbs!

What will a Whole Foods apartment be like?

No connection to city services. Communty garden instead of a pool (guess the fertilizer source). Solar powered AC for the mild Houston summers. Drinking water piped in from the roof.

all i know is that the whole foods on woodway at voss is one of the worst grocery stores i have ever been to. i think whole foods prices are way over priced, i would much rather shop at a central market.

Our closest gro is the lovely fiesta at 14th and studewood. My wife and I have been joking for a couple of years that a whole foods with a coffee shop was inevitable with the gentrification in the heights. Although it's a couple of years away, we're happy. Now, if could get someone to burn down the fiesta, we'd be in business.

I also take a central market over whole foods personally. I like Fiesta, I remember the one in Clear Lake/Webster years back was really nice.
