"The move technically leaves Mario Chalmers as the only Heat player under contract until Miami's new star trio all sign contracts, but Beasley's exit will create sufficient cap space for Heat president Pat Riley to offer max-contract money to James, Wade and Bosh."


Starting to wonder what this team is going to look like after they sign the trio for max contracts. They will have like $15 Million left I think to sign the other 8 players needed to fill up a roster.

The heat are gonna be one good season ending knee injury to Lebraun or Wade away from making this season a complete waste. Not saying I want to see something like that happen. Just sayin.

I'm hoping that all 3 of those guys are plagued by minor, nagging injuries for the rest of their careers. Nothing serious, just little stuff that prevents any of them from being at 100% for any length of time. Especially in the playoffs.

Their gonna sign MAX contracts? I thought Lebron said it wasn't about the money. If he was, I would think he'd take a salary that would allow them to bring whatever help they need.

I don't think anybody expects them to sign max contracts. They already said they are taking pay cuts. Beasley was dealt to get more money for incoming players.
