The bar has been lowered so much it is way below ground even if we have spent nearly a billion on it and more needs to be spent.
so far there isn't even a way to make a payment.

but saying the website gets better is all people like BO and the OP have.
 
No matter how well the website operates, it can't negate the fact that Obamacare is pure garbage. No matter how much lipstick you try to put on this pig, it's still a pig.

The number I quoted was simply the latest number I found. My guess is that it probably is only half of the true cost, but I wanted a documented number. I read somewhere that this number only included the salary of one person, so the calculation was obviously way too low.

But hey, the website is getting better!
 
As I said in another thread, the website failures are an embarrassment, but they aren't what makes Obamacare politically destructive. It's the impact of the Act itself - the dropping of individual coverage, the explosion of premiums and deductibles, etc.
 
I'm not sure why anyone ever responds to ole Rog's posts, I think he posts his diatribe just to get under people's skin (and does a good job of it I might add). But I've come to think of ole Rog as the class clown, the guy who can't get a date (from either of the sexes), the annoying guy who will say anything to get attention. I read his posts just to get a laugh because they are usually pretty funny.

Good example of what a jokester he is, the huffo article ole Rog is quoting only uses information provided by the administration. You wouldn't think they would fudge on any of the numbers, would you? I mean, this administration as always been so upfront, honest and transparent how could you not believe any information they provide?

This is not good for the general population because there is no money to pay for it. The money will have to be borrowed. The chickens will come to roost, my friend.
 
On a separate note, I called the NHSC (National Health Service Corps) regarding a government grant. While on hold for 30 minutes waiting for an administrator, I was treated to advertisements for Obamacare. The marketing apparatus is very strong, and I suspect we will see plenty of ads not just on tv but also with every interaction we have with executive controlled agencies. Don't be surprised if IRS interactions and documents include a large blurb about the benefits of Obamacare as well as a menacing description of the penalties.
 
This reminds me of a scene from Back to School, where Rodney Dangerfield is being grilled by the board for allegedly cheating.

I see that the line of attack is now changing -- it's not the website, it's the premiums,,,people hate the ACA,,,,Santa Claus is coming tonite,,,,yada yada yada. One thing is for sure though-- if the TP'ers and hard rw'ers are groaning & complaining, there's something GOOD happening for most Americans!
