Healthier this season than any in recent memory?

OK, folks, I'm knocking on wood as I type this, but it seems to me that we are healthier going into our opener than any season in recent memory. I'm sitting out here in central Florida every morning reading the beat writers daily write-ups for Florida, FSU, UCF, Miami, USF, and yes, FAU, and it seems to me all they can talk about are injuries. I can't help but think we've been very fortunate this year, unlike some recent others. The only real injuries that come to mind are Josh Marshall, who may be out for awhile, and Fozzy, who seemed to just have had a mild knee sprain, and is already back. Are there any others I've missed?

It is a notable point. Also, it is good to note that despite the expectations about our status in the Big 12 this season a few injuries to other teams could really change things. The teams that are expected to give us the most trouble this season are OU, Mizzou, and Tech (unless I have missed something). OU is weak and lacks depth on D, especially the LBs. Tech is weak in the secondary, especially safety and in LBs. I am not sure on the scouting report for Mizzou, but if we have to get into a dog fight with any or all of these teams it is good to know that we go deeper at most any given position than anyone else. Our committee style RBs, LBs, and secondary could prove very useful. So relatively few injuries is big news for us.

We are overdue for some good luck. The last two seasons we've needed a MASH unit on the sidelines to keep a team on the field.
