...in a couple of weeks & would appreciate any and all suggestions from the travelers here.

We're flying into Fort Lauderdale, driving down US 1, and spending 4 nights at the Crowne Plaza-La Concha.

Margaritaville, Hog's Breath, the Mike Leach Pirate Soul Museum

,and Captain Tony's are already on the agenda, so help me out with some other "must-do" activities.

Thanks in advance!

If I wind up adding the Garden of Eden bar to the agenda, I know I won't have to worry about packing extra clothes...

Ha just got back last night. Business trip. Spent 8 hours on the ground in KW. I've been twice before. Blue Heaven is a great restaurant. Get there early and work up an appetite playing ping pong.

Sunset at Mallory Square is a must. I enjoyed the visit to E Hemingway's house and Mel Fisher's museum of gold booty is cool. Check out Kelly's restaurant and bar which has a great outdoor dining area. It's really nice. You can't really go wrong in Key West.

Agreed with the Coonass; even the "touristy" places are still Key West.

If you have the time, i.e. more than one day to spare, take the ferry / Fast Cat to Fort Jefferson.

Note to the Miami visitor from the other thread: this is NOT the one I was mentioning... keep looking.
