So here's my issue - I have southern exposure at my complex and with a little careful aiming, I'm pretty confident I can get a signal, but I'm in a nazi apartment complex that won't let me mount anything on the walls or rails of the patio of my apartment.
The installers were out last week and told me that because of the weight of the dish, they can't use a tripod set up on my patio and then s-polling out over the patio ledge to allow for line of sight (the patio is covered and the visibility is such that the satellite has to be at least on the patio ledge in order to get past the overhang.
So my question to any who have an HD dish - is it particularly difficult to install as opposed to a standard dish (which I have installed easily enough int he past). If you've installed one, what type of apparatus did you use to support the dish?
