Hard to believe we made it this far when we weren't even picked to win the conference. Making it to the last game in the last series is one hell of an accomplishment. These guys have made me proud!! Great series and an amazing effort all season long.

There's no shame in getting whipped. Sometimes the other guy's just more than you can handle.

I can't believe the number of times this team fought back and kept scraping and scrapping. They damn sure never gave up, and never gave in.

What a fun team to watch...and some thrilling moments for this team! It was a great ride...and hopefully, we've got enough coming back next year that we can take another one to Omaha!

Of course it is disappointing to get so far and come in second, but the team overachieved to get as far as they did, and we should tip our hats to them for that accomplishment.
They provided so many thrills with the improbable comebacks to win the conference, the regional, the superregional and the CWS bracket to reach the finals, so many memories that we will never forget. Thank you Horns, for a great year, and we all look forward to next season's team with great expectations.
We weren't considered the big dog at Omaha, especially in the final series, yet we had a real chance to pull it out, even in the last game until the final three innings. A lot of teams would like to have had the season we just finished.

Thank You Augie and team. I am having a rough time getting over the loss but I think we will be back in Omaha next year.

Is not college baseball wonderful? No computers, polls, split championships etc etc etc.

Congratulations Longhorns. I was very impressed with the hitting, pitching, and coaching during the CWS. Augie is terrific (sure wish we had him in Waco).
