Gundy had won 4 in a row in Austin. And Gundy won last year in Stillwater.

They ran for 259, and Pooka had 196. Am I misunderstanding what game you are referring to?

Tom Herman is a horrible game day coach. There I said it, I’ve hated to admit it when others have said so but it’s true. Maybe it’s been talked about elsewhere but the end of the game was atrocious. He goes running down the sideline like an idiot to call a timeout and leave 8 seconds on the clock. I’m screaming not yet wait til 3 seconds. I figure he’s gonna give Kansas a final play and the way that kid can throw a deep ball it might of been bad. Then to make it worse we run another play with no timeouts like we don’t have a history of bad snaps or recent poor blitz pickup. Glad it worked out but geez why do that to yourself.
I won’t even go into going for it twice on 4th down when we really didn’t need to in those situations giving them a short field resulting in two scores.

Probably he told Sam to only throw it if Duvernay was wide open and otherwise to just throw it over his head. If he trusts Sam to execute that, no blitz in the world is getting there fast enough, even an unblocked blitzer.

I won’t even go into going for it twice on 4th down when we really didn’t need to in those situations giving them a short field resulting in two scores.
