After a string of good books, I don't want to break up the momentum. I'm not really into multi-generational stories, but it got good reviews.
From some reviewers, I get the feeling that it underhandily mocks Texas and Texans. I don't necessarily mind that, but I appreciate some authenticity and credibility in those characters a la McMurtry.
