Hard drive recovery specialists?

my girlfriend's work laptop crashed hard this week. she has a ton of work on it and they gave it to their IT specialist at work and i am not sure how good he is. are there any good hard drive recovery specialists in the austin area? i'm sure her company will pay whatever it takes to recover it.
