watched a little of the tourney and saw a commercial a couple of times talking about "great moments in women's sports that no one saw" and how this firm was going to help. Trying to guilt the audience into caring about entertainment that we don't actually think is entertaining.

what i think is funniest about this is that these media channels playing this stuff are eventually going to have to put up or shut up. They are going to have to play these sports in prime time even if no one actually tunes in. and then they will have hours worth of programming and zero advertisers interested in paying the big bucks for that air time. they are crapping on their own business model just to curry favor. Cracks me up.

No one saw it because no one cared to see it. At least not enough to warrant investing in TV production of it.
 
Women's tennis is watchable at times. And I like our Women's Basketball team (but I wouldn't watch women's basketball unless we were playing). I've actually coached (very low level) female soccer before. Talk about the blind leading the blind. :beertoast:
