Hannah Montana

Somebody explain to me what this **** is and why people are paying hundreds of dollars a ticket for a kiddie show.

As someone who's had to watch a couple of episodes of the show, it's about the best produced kid's show I've ever seen. Never really listened to the music, but HM is a young girl singing about young girl stuff - pretty much an untapped market. If I had the money I'd be paying to take my daughter to their show.

My kids like the show and we all like her music. She is quite talented.

Hopefully we will be going to the Jan 24 show here in Austin. I am trying to get on the guest list through one of my clients.

hopefully it all works out!

My daughter is 5 and can't stop listening to her HM CD.

As a parent, I'm pretty ok with it. The music is catchy and it carries a positive message. As a parent I can't ask for much more.

Have your mom sign up for an account here unless she already posts. Then she can read your post and you don't have to tell her yourself.

I honestly think that this is the culmination of Billy Ray's master plan.....the mullet; the horrendous song.......all of it was to provide material for his daughter's show 20 years later.

I've got to agree with the above comment about it being a well-produced show.....hell, I find it to be very watchable.

Same goes with Suite Life of Zach and Cody.

My 3-year-old loves Hannah Montana. So does my 7-year-old, of course, which is almost certainly the reason that the younger one does.

Kid entertainment, for the little ones, they do not have a defined taste of music developed yet.

Let them enjoy.

I'm down w/ Zach and Cody too.

Public Service Announcement:
Mamas don't let you babies grow up to be Hannah Montana.

Reason #1- As a 13 year old on a promo shoot for her show before
it premiered, she was screaming at her father to do this, do that, and was generally a spoiled selfish little brat. (My company did the promo shoot.)

Reason #2- Same shoot. She had her 25 year old boyfriend
on the set during the shoot.

That's illegal in ALL 50 States and
even Puerto Rico.

She is a Lindsay Lohan in training. That is all.

Now, back to the hero worship.

Hannah Montana >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Zach and Cody

My 9-yo daughter sings the **** out of the theme song, and she's normally pretty shy.

Yesterday's episode had Vicki Lawrence and Dolly Parton as her two aunts (?). There's some serious star power on that show for a kid's show.

She's the double-ought version of the 80's Tiffany and Debbie Gibson, the 90's Britney Spears. Lotsa little girl fans. And, yes, many parents will find a way to pay hundreds of bucks so their little princess won't be disappointed when Hannah comes to town.

I'm just pissed that I had my seven (almost eight) year old sister headed down the right musical via mix tapes and rocking out in the car.

And now I'm having to fork over $22 for a Hannah Montana CD. That better be the double ******* deluxe edition.

Jesus, you can buy the Beatles White Album for that price.

Just scored 4 tickets to next Thursday's show at face value. My sister kicks MUCH ***!

My daughter is going to be in HEAVEN! w00t! w00t!

I don't know if it's because she sings a lot and all that singing abrades her vocal chords but ... when she talks she sounds like a middle-aged woman who chain-smokes.

My 5 and 3 year olds went. Both say it was the best day of their life. Kind of like how I look at the 2005 Rose Bowl.

My daughter was bouncing off the walls when I told her. She's on cloud nine!

I was able to get 2 more for another friend of hers and that phone call went pretty well too! I scored some pretty big daddy points today!
