Hacking g-mail passwords

I have a client who wants to do this on a mac. I understand there are zillions of programs you can buy to do this. Anyone have any recommendations?

BTW, this is for a wayward child, not a cheating spouse or business partner. It is my understanding that it is legal for parents to monitor their children's computer use.

Have the parent buy a key logger program and install it on the computer, it will record all user names and passwords. Once installed give computer back to the kid. There are a bunch of programs out there.
