I am looking at replacing my gutters, I am simply sick of messing with the twice a year cleaning required with the mass of oaks I ahve in the back yard that overhang the roofline.

I have noticed there are not multiple brands of "leafless" gutters on the market, leafgaurd, gutter helmet, etc.

Anyone bought guttering recently that has any suggestions or warnings to stay away from certain companies? I thought about doing it myself as it's pretty easy labor, but figure seamless would be best over the long haul.

I recently had seamless gutters installed by Austin Gutterman and was happy with both the quality of the installation and the promptness in which it was done. I would suggest that you get the best hangers available. They have one of the "leaf guard" products as well.

Do you recall how much a foot they were?

Also I was considering repainting my house so I figured it woudl probably be best to tear off the old gutters myself check the fascia for rot . So as to replace any wood and paint it before having the neew gutters installed.
