Gulf coast deep sea fishing guides?

I didn't have any luck finding any recs for South Padre. We are willing to try pretty much anywhere on the gulf coast. Any recommendations?

I just got back from a trip with Deep Sea Headquarters in Port Aransas. It was marginal. Not highly recommended.

For SPI, Brian Ray on The Master Plan has been around for years and has a good reputation. Here's their website....Master Plan

Or at the Open Saltwater Forum here. It's the best fishing forum I've found specifically for Texas. With the high cost of fuel a private offshore trip is getting very pricey, but if you can split it several ways it may not be so bad.
