Guess who is moving on up?

I thought it was funny that SI has Chase Daniel ranked No. 1 on its watch list, but the photo right beside his write-up was of Jeremy Maclin.

Between Chase Daniels, Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy there is a very good chance that two of the 3 win Heismans. Over the next two years Daniels will be putting up sick numbers; same with Colt. Bradford has this year due to the fact that next year they lose so much talent.

Should be a very interesting race.

Why is Tebow on this list, on name alone? If you're going to base this on stats or highlights the way it sometimes seems he is pedestrian in those categories. The only two highlights of the year that stand out to me from him are throwing off his back foot for a TD against Miami (luck) and his little jump throw to the TE on the goal line against Tenn. Tenn isn't so hot this year though.

I too don't want to see McCoy too high up on this list. Heisman winners tend to not do as well later on as we prefer, or in their respective bowl games for that matter.

As with all the team rankings that are out right now, this doesn't mean much until Big 12 and SEC conference play gets underway. I can't imagine the eventual Heisman winner coming from anywhere but the Big 12, and it all depends on who is winning.

We need to beat Arky, CU, and OU before he should get any talk. Plus, the last time he got talk was the preseaon of last year and we all know how that turned out.
