I have been there maybe 3 times before. Going there tonight. What are your favorite things on the menu?

Actually, far from terrible.

If you have spent anytime outside of Austin, in some horrible town full of chains, you will love this place.

Queso Flameado is my favorite.

I usually get the steak quesadillas there actually and utilise their many salsas on them.

What is a 'crispy' taco?

Most places I go just ask flour or corn. The answer of course is always CORN.

Chicken Especial enchiladas. They're not on the menu, so you have to ask for them. Fantastic.

Great rocks margaritas, too.

I love the restaurant, and never understood the criticisms.

I think a lot of the criticism was directed more at the owner than the restaurant itself. Wasn't he pissing people off w/ something he was doing during First Thursdays, or some such? And there was some complaint about a loft project he was involved in.

I think it's not bad. Not my favorite, but I like it okay. The tacos al pastor are good.

I've always like Guero's as well. I like the shrimp fajitas with the grilled tomatillos mixed in. Tip-top.
