Been playing now for about 2 hours. Cool so far, the city is huge and I know there's so much stuff out there. I'll be spending quite a bit of time with this one. The cell phone is really cool. Driving seems a lot harder though.
 
Michelle is a little c**t. Took her bowling and still no *****. Guess she didn't like me tearing her car to pieces.
 
I just opened mine, but as a PSA, Radio Shack gives you a $10 gift card which can be applied to the game...essentially, they are selling it for $50 with everyone else selling it for $60.
 
Gots mines, but haven't opened it yet. The last GTA I played was for the regular playstation, so I think this is a bit of an upgrade.

Are you supposed to keep dating her to get some sort of benefit, or is the 5G all you're gonna get out of her?
 
Awesome so far. I like that they give you the option to "pause" the story (using the menus on your phone), so you can free explore without feeling like you're missing something.

Not that it's as cool as dating Michelle, but did anybody get good at bowling? I suck.
 
I have tried to access the online part about 3 times and each time said it was unavailable. I wasn't too worried about it at the time but it better work eventually.
 
OK the multiplayer is bad ***, no joke. So many games to chose from, and the best part is getting a car and having 3 of your buddies jump in and go after the enemy shotting AKs out the window. Priceless
 
The camera controls are a real ***** sometimes, but especially in a fast paced online game. I guess I am just use to COD or R6V, but sometimes the camera gets all dysfunctional at the wrong time.
 
Got a couple of questions. This is the first GTA I have played since the very first one, so its been a while. What should I be doing during "down time", meaning when I am not on a mission or a date. Is there a trick to robbing certain people to get more $ ?
 
Couple of things you can do.

1. Take a job stealing cars for Brucie or driving the cab for your cousin.
2. Hold up people on the street
3. Go to a food place or the clothing stores and hold them up at gunpoint. You can make some good cash doing that.

You can also put the story on pause and drive around and find some spots you'd miss during the missions.
 
mine was freezing every 10 minutes. then i put a fan behind the power brick and console and is has finally stopped. the game is simply overworking some of the old 360s.

im not sure what the problem is with the ps3s freezing.
 
I was planning on picking this game up this weekend.
Is it a must have for the XBOX 360?
Where should I get it? Anywhere cheaper than other places?
 
I killed Michele by accident on our first date. Was trying to do a U-Turn after the bowling and ran into a little water hazard in the nearby miniature golf course.

She drowned.

I restarted.

I think she's a cop.
 
I'm tired of Michelle, I want someone else. I will pick her up if she calls me but other than that, no. I need some more in my stable.
 
bank mission was awesome. You think Michelle is cold wait till you meet Packies sister. Been gettin that slut drunk and spending some coin on her and still no action.
