Maybe feeling guilty and dirty for being part of the cheating that went on to get her at Baylor. Her conscience tells her she is not worthy.

You should hang out on the Aggie board because that's where comments like yours are welcomed. On-going jokes about Griner's sexuality, or sex, are really nothing more than gay bashing. You'd probably enjoy sitting in the stands and shouting at her during a game, "Show us your @#($" like they do in College Station or Lubbock. Classless. But super funny (not).

All of this talk about Griner is incredibly insensitive and hurtful. I do not have any answers about BG's sexuality but I do know that to post hurtful comments shows immaturity and ignorance.

The rate of suicide for GLBT kids is an epidemic and alarmingly high. Cyber bullying is very easy because you get to hide behind a keyboard and spew ugly comments in anonymity.

It was well documented that her mother could not travel to the Final Four. And for her to remove her name from the Olympic pool would indicate that her mother's illness must be serious. Yet no compassion is show for her, jut more questioning of her gender.

Best wishes to the Griner family. We know none of the details of the illness, nor do we have a right to. All we can do is wish the family our best and hope that her mother recovers.

Gender testing is now done on a case-by-case basis, in the event that an opponent questions the sexuality of an athlete. Every female athlete is not subjected to gender testing.
