Greg Williams fired at Washington?

This is meaningless to us now that we have Muschamp, but I believe many wanted Williams to be our DC for awhile now.

Now that Williams is gone, do you think he would've been interested in a DC position at Texas if the slot was available?

And if we were still looking for a DC right now, would you rather hire Will Muschamp or Greg Williams?

Again, this means nothing. Just wanted to hear your opinions of this hypothetical situation.

I think you are thinking of Greg Robinson. Or maybe a combination of Greg Robinson and Jerry Gray, who also coached on the Redskins staff.

Input from a Redskin fan:

This bugs me. There is hopefully a good reason for this because a comfort for Skins fans was that there would be some consistency and comfort for the players in a lack of transition. Maybe a bit less conservative of an approach but a solid path of development to come.

This was a season where we had a lot of improvements take place with a good amount of positives (aside from the obvious other sad/tragic events) to take into the offseason. The last thing we want to worry about as fans is what the hell Snyder may be up to again. Hopefully he will just sit his *** back and let others do things as he and Jerry Jones have proven themselves to be total idiots if they meddle in things too much. We rival fans need to send both of them on extended vacations to deserted islands during offseasons, it seems.

Jim Fassel/Fossil/Fizzle's name keeps coming up. I have mixed feelings about this. He did get two coach of the year awards, 3 division titles, a conference title or two and a Super Bowl berth (but they got crushed by the very defensive Ravens). Some talking heads are surprised his name has not come up sooner. What reason is behind his name not being up for mention over the last couple of years elsewhere? I dunno. I am not psyched on paper at this moment about this, at all. Especially since the team loves Williams and the current staff in place.

There are still coaches in the Super Bowl up for the job as well. My wet dream is that Cowher will go ahead and come back a year early. I know, ain't gonna happen.

But Redskin fans at this time are not enthused about this development and are very concerned that Snyder may be too involved in this after being good for a good amount of time this go 'round. We'll see.

that's not what I asked: "Do you like your job?"

Otherwise I think the ID for the OP is great even though it's missing TJ.

Sorry, my bad. I opened the window, left for awhile and then came back.

I am glad with Muschamp as he has been back in the college game and there is no transition period needed if any were in the first place.
