lets just say when he decommitted from tt for bama, it wasn't seen as your garden variety decomittment by many who knew the entire story.

He was a grayshirt offer... Tech already had Taylor Potts committed and they wanted to offer him the opportunity to come in a semester late. Bama came in late and switched commitments.

Initial offer was a gray shirt but that was changed shortly thereafter.
