Tomorrow marks the second best day of the year in Big D. St. Patty's Day. Time to get outside, enjoy the weather and drink copious amounts of green beer!

So who's going to the parade? Who's going to see Ghostland Observatory? Who's gonna be drunk by noon?

Yeah it is but the parade and all the partyin' always happens the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day.

I have the keg ready. I am on the Greenville neighborhood Board Of Directors this year and trying to keep a low profile as the association frowns on this action.

Rowdy, what exactly are they frowing on? You having a keg party and being on the board or just people having keg parties period.

BTW we're gonna have 6 of 'em.

parking the cars this evening, leaving beer in coolers in said car, drinking beer and eating some greed-dyed scrambled eggs, laughing at Garland and Mesquite trash walk up and down Greenville Ave., hitting up Ghostland Obsrv., partying it up over in the M streets, and hoping a cab will get me back home safely at the end of the night.

Can anyone tell me the parade route? I'm new to Dallas and live in the Village. I was hoping I could just walk over to Greenville to watch it.

dry creek, the neighborhood association big wigs hate the event just like every other thing that happens past 10PM or on this weekend. However, the lower rung members such as myself joined and volunteer to try to plan or deal with the events better.

You will notice the No Parking signs everywhere on Lower Greenville on Saturday, which limits our parking for all visitors, even the guests for our own parties. The neighborhood association wants to discourage visitors to the neighborhood as possible.

So, I think this is the greatest event in Dallas, but it is a pain in the *** if you are trying to accomodate people.

yeah i was talking to a buddy on the phone about an hour ago and he said it's his favorite day behind TX/OU and i had one of those terrible moments of realization like the end of usual suspects. i was thinking along the lines of holidays and parades and couldn't figure out what another one would be.

i humbly redact my query.

Drove down from Frisco in my heavily modded Acura. We were having a great time until my bud puked green beer all over my Tag Heuer. Luckily I keep my vertical stripped shirt untucked, so it was pretty easy to wipe it off with my shirttail.
