Sammy was my fav artist of all time, he could sing, dance, act, do great impressions, trick shot artist. The greatest talent in the history of show business.

if sammy davis jr. was 26 years old right now, he would be being hailed as the greatest all around entertainer/performer in the industry. there were many times where he was not even allowed to use the restroom in the same toilet and not allowed to sleep in the same room as all the other entertainers.

I'm sure he was talented and all, but much like Liza Minnelli, he just wasn't my cup of tea.

I tend to view him more as a Rat Pack token, which is not a slight towards him, but to the other members of that "pack".

But he was Jewish, so he had that going for him.
