'Greatest Team in History'

The last time I remember the "Greatest Team in History" playing in a League Championship, they lost in 5 games to Detroit.

Just saying....

1990 Reds over the A's and Eckersly, Stewart, Canseco, McGuire, Weiss, etc, in a sweep.

Can we file today's game under "Bill Belichick with a month to prepare"?

Poor Tom Brady, now he'll have to go to his mansion and cry himself to sleep at night with his 3 Super Bowl rings and supermodel girlfriend to console him.

Life is tough for a Pat. The lesser evil won it tonight.

Lets see I have only seen the best team in history about 40 times and they have all been different . The longer you live the more best ever you will hear about. I think the reason you play the game is to be the best that year. Very subjective. Speaking of when the Cowboys played the Bills the first time I do not believe many people gave them a chance either. Oh and by the way that was my best team ever. or was the next year or 2 years later ?

I'd have to say the 1985 Bears are the best team ever.

The way that the line in favor Patriots was up at 14 and all sorts of sportscasters were predicting a 45-10 type blowout, this did come really close to the USC vs. Greatest Armies in History.
