Texas went out to Hawaii last week-end where they played #10 California, #4 Hawaii, and #19 St Louis. Destinee Hooker and Juliann Faucette were named to the all tournament team and Ashley Engle was the tournament most outstanding player. Texas is ranked #2 in the nation.
Texas came away with three wins only losing 2 sets in 3 games. At times the team was scary awesome! They return to Austin to open at home against the Italian National A2 team on Friday 9/11 and Saturday 9/12. Come on out and see world class volleyball at Gregory Gym!
