Marshall's finest and certainly one of Texas greatest professional QB's ever and that's saying something considering Baugh, Layne, Meredith, Brees etc. Albeit also quite sad as I have personally witnessed the ravages of dementia in my grandmother before she died in 1995. Enjoy

I remember watching Y.A. Tittle playing for the NY Giants when I was very young. He was really good and one tough SOB.

I covered two of his grandchildren when I was a sports reporter. They played tennis for Irving MacArthur and were very good.

Fascinating story of a great QB. Going through that now with my Mom makes for a different perspective when you read the same symptoms and family emotions as you experience. Dementia/Alzheimer's sucks! God grant me patience because love alone is not enough.
