Great game, folks.

Awesome game, folks. Abrams really turned it on down the stretch, and we seemed immune to ball-screen defense.

I'm happy people got a chance to see we're not a one-man team. WW is a beast, but he could only carry us so far.

Texas played desperate, as I felt they would. Balbay was the key, I thought, in winning.

You got to make shots. AJ was able to get loose in the final five minutes when OU looked a little dead-legged.

If I were an OU fan, I'd be encouraged. They got a 30-minute full-on scrimmage without BG before a big game at home, if, as I would guess, they won't have him.

Texas saw what happened when they eased up... they lost a 12-point lead in a flash and had to fight with all they had. If I were Bill Self, I'd be emphasizing the 32-15 stretch that OU laid on the Horns, not the five minutes that cost the Sooners the game.

OUE - No same in the loss. Sooners did themselves proud to make a fight of it with Griffin on the bench.

From what I've seen, Sooners definitely have the type of team that can go deep in the tourney. Blake is a beast. Many teams just won't have an answer for him. Plus, good strong guards. And, I really like #5 (can't think of his name right now).

Hope Griffin makes it back for KS game on Monday. Should be a helluva game.

Loved our spunk after getting hit in the nose, pun intended.

Not sure why we didn't sniff out the Abrams/Atchley screen roll. Abrams can light it up when he's hot. I also thought playing off of Balbay played into his strengths as he frequently got the ball with no one on him and was able to drive freely creating lanes that wouldn't have been there if we were NOT using the Doug Gotlieb defensive strategy.

Good game. Love your coach.

I'm not sure if playing close-up on Balbay would have made it harder for him to drive. If anything it might have made it easier. As it was, his man had a 5-foot head start to beat him to the spot and still couldn't do it most of the time.

Y'all got a great team. Don't want to lose to y'all again in the Big XII tourney.

Willie Warren sure would look good with Tommie Mason-Griffin setting him up.

I remain convinced that no-one can claim to have seen Willie Warren in the same room, at the same time, with Joe Dumars. I am certain they are one-in-the same in both game and demeanor. I recall in the 1980s when Dumars was looking to get drafted somone wrote watching him play made one feel like they were listening to Brahms or Mozart (I don't recall). In either case, I get the point. Man I pray Willie Warren goes pro. He has the body and the game. But maybe he'd like to come back and play behind a rebuilt offensive line instead of getting a contract worth $60 million? WTF!!!
