Got this town into a world series, finally. Great ride you gave us all.

Crossing fingers for a top notch free agent pitcher inked in the off season. Without Cliff Lee we don't get past Tampa. With him, we get to the world series.

SanFran showed that the Hottest Team Wins...you take your chances....Pitching and defense rules the game now, we just need to keep a Cliff Lee type on the roster & hope to get hot in Oct-Nov

agree about the season, not 100% on board with emptying the piggy bank for Lee. I think he cost himself some millions with the last two starts. The amount would have been astronomical if he had won tonight.

Of course the bats were cold the last two games, but what also hurt bigtime was the loss of Frankie in July or August?

only thing I was disappointed in tonight was Hamilton's last bat and Wash's decision to hit and run with Elvis instead of sacrifice.
 
^^^^....and the decision not to walk Renteria once Lee fell behind 2-0 with first base open and the No. 9 hitter on deck. All that being said, it was a great run---one that I (a long-suffering Rangers fan since they arrived here from Washington) didn't think this team had in it. Thanks guys!

So glad Hicks isn't around to suffocate the franchise like he did the Stars after some success. SF's pitching was unbelievable. This season is still one of the great sports stories considering everything this team went through this year with the BK and the auction to first series wins and beating the Yanks. Congrats San Fran. And Let's Go Rangers!
 
Hard to believe it's over. But, not only did we have October baseball...we had freakin' November baseball. Congrats to Wash and the guys - it was a great run and happy to see the Metroplex get so dialed in.

Wow... I honestly did not expect this kind of season for 2010.

Following the Rangers closely since 1973, I am not sure I ever thought they would be in the World Series. But what a season it was - it was a fun ride. They beat the Rays and bannished the dreaded Yanks to win our first American League pennant.

I am so proud of this team and Wash. Let's do it again next season!!!

Indeed a terrific season. This team is about one year ahead of schedule - they were originally expected to improve in 2010 and compete in 2011. The key players are in place - just a bit of tinkering for next season. Let's see if Hurley can be available. Feldman and Harden? Get Frankie back. Another year from Vlad. Sign Josh while he's still affordable. I'd like to see them keep Francouer - never did understand why the Braves gave up on him.
Still, even with the disappointing World Series, this was a fabulous season for our American League Champion Texas Rangers!

Great season. Really enjoyed watching this TEAM. They were inspiring and just ran into a buzzsaw and maybe looked a bit out of gas after beating their nemesis. Helluva season.

great season, exciting team that was always fun to watch. Giants were just dealing too many aces and were white hot at the right time.

I was happy for the long-suffering Ranger fans, and hoping they would go all the way. It appears they peaked and celebrated after beating the Yankees, understandable but slightly disappointing. Still, a great ride-any team that beats the big payroll teams in baseball achieves a big accomplishment.
 
That was alot of fun, this team is easy to cheer for. Hope they can continue the success for several years.
 
I was there at Game 5. Great atmosphere, I don't think I sat down more than a couple times during the game. Thanks for a great season from a long suffering Rangers fan.
