8.4/attempt? That's almost 5 yards below his season average of 13.34/attempt! Gray averages a touchdown once every four rushing attempts.

His stats would have been more "up to par" if he had not had the three TD runs, each over 50 yards, called back in the game, including a 60 yard run on Aledo's second play of the game.

Such a huge dropoff in numbers is cause for concern. We might need to start thinking about some other options for this recruiting class...

"Wait, are you saying ESPN will show a Texas Longhorn recruit on TV? That's a national channel! I wonder if now Aggies will bail the SEC for an international league?"

Their argument was that Texas was getting $10MM/year to "have their logo" on the channel in which the HS recruits would be shown. It's fine that FSW or ESPN or anyone else can show it. Just not us.

Clearly all the long touchdown runs are wearing on him. I think this is a concern we should probably address - maybe ask the coach not to hand him the ball until he gets to midfield so he only has to run 50 yards for a score instead of 80?

I wish Traylon Shead the best of luck where ever he goes.

That said with Shead gone, #32 opens up and that jersey will look good with "GRAY" printed on the back.

Gray had an off night last night

(sarcasm) Dunbar put eight in the box to stop the run and he went 27 for 198.

His team won big as the Aledo QB went wild.

Can't wait for him and MB and JB (plus Hills) to pound it next year.
