Graphics on my computer are...

...now showing up looking like a black & white TV image. (example: the Hornfans logo is in black, white, & shades of grey instead of orange) I've gone to the control panel & tried to adjust the display, but there doesn't appear to be anywhere to do that.
Can anyone give me some help? I have Windows 98 on an old computer that's made of wood and old tin cans...

your video card drivers must be messed up.

first, right click on desktop ->properties->settings

drop down the 'Color Quality' box and see if you have the option to go to 16 bit (i'm guessing its currently at 2).

if 16 bit isnt an option, then your drivers are messed up.
The Link if you have an nvidia powered graphics card and download their drivers.

for the others, i suggest you go to the manufacturer's site.


only if your search is futile, go to windows update and see if they have any drivers for your card.
