Granny shoots Attempted Robber

She looks asian, Philipino.

Says she's glad she didn't kill the guy after having recently lost a son.

Robbers were African-Americans. Hospital to jail.

Everybody likes a 'granny with a gun' story.

Don't know if the 'SYG' law would be necessary as she was trying to access her vehicle. Basic castle doctrine probably covers her, even basic self defense, given the fact that they had guns and shot at her. Wild ******* west.
 
She is Philipino/Filipino.

Her vehicle was riddled with bullet holes.

She was trained to shoot by her husband, whom she later shot after catching him with a mistress. No charges field in that case, either.

4'11" above sea level, this woman. Lucky to be alive, really.
 
I am thinking that maybe her and the Police Chief have something going on........

She was Filipino and the guy who was shot was black....not that is interesting and she has a history, were there any other witnesses to the incident? When does Shartpton and Jackson come to Georgia asking about the investigation?
 
Gotta love how the article rips her for having a "thick accent" despite living in the US for 40 years. Georgia journalism.
 
I'm amazed that the two robber-assailants were (thankfully for her) such lousy shots. First of all, they had the advantage of surprise and having their guns already out, and then they fired first and shot at least 10 bullets at her. I guess those guys couldn't afford to go to a shooting range... perhaps Sharpton and Jackson can protest the social and economic injustice of that.

Shot her husband for infidelity? At least that's more humane than a Filipina tradition of which I'm told (I hope from someone lying/exaggerating). His story is that Filipina mom''s give their daughters a wedding gift of a knife with a curved blade made specifically for the purposes of detatching junk used unfaithfully. I think I'd rather be shot.

As far as a grandma winning a gunfight with would-be robbers, no mixed feelings here. Go Grandma!
 
My Grandmother, on my Father's side, once beat the **** out of a guy coming in her window with a hammer. She pounded and pounded him and he got stuck trying to get out. She was every inch of 4'9" tall.

My cousins found the guy a couple days later and well, I don't think it ended well for the dude. It's fair to add that 3 of them are doing life terms, 2 in Cali and 1 in New Mexico. Not for that situation but later on. So yeah, dude picked the wrong house and granny in San Pedro, California that night.

This was latino on latino followed by many latinos on latino violence.
