Grande or Uverse?

We currently have Time Warner phone/cable/Internet, and we might be moving into a house soon that is serviceable by both Grande and AT&T Uverse. I have heard good things about both. Grande is cheaper, but it looks like Uverse has more for about the same price we're paying. Suggestions?

seems like both are about $90 for cable, phone and internet, before fees. I'm considering a switch from grande to Uverse, though I've been pretty happy with grande. I think uverse may have more hd channels and better dvr

I have Grande and am switching to Uverse in about a week. My main reasons are greater number of HD channels, better DVR, I will be cutting my costs, and I have been somewhat unhappy with Grande customer service.

I will follow up in a few weeks on how I feel about the switch. As someone who always suffers from buyers remorse, I am already questioning my decision to change.

We have Grande and have been having a lot of trouble with them in our new house. There's something wrong w/ the HD signal, and despite at least 6 visits from tech's, it hasn't been fixed. Our HD skips-- almost like a satalite will sometimes. On occassion, our HD channels are unwatchable. It seems this may be a problem Grande has across the board though. The techs keep telling us "some signal loss and skipping is normal" which I think is BS.

Also, Grande's HD is compressed, so it's not as good of HD to start w/.

We haven't been very pleased w/ their service-- both becuase they can't fix this problem, and because they have not followed through w/ service requests-- like if you ask them to call half an hour before the visit so you can get home from work, they typically won't. And twice they've scheduled the service between 2-4, causing one of us to be off work, and then not shown up until after 6.

However, I'm sure people have plenty of gripes about U-verse too.

One thing about Uverse, you cannot have more than one DVR. Granted your dvr harddrive his like 5x's as big as the TW ones.

You can watch your recorded dvr shows from any TV in the house, but you can only pause live TV from your main box/TV.
