Grande coverage area?

I went to the website and my address is not in the coverage area of Grande yet. I live off Parmer Ln. Does anyone know specifically what areas of Austin get Grande service? Is it only South Austin and East Austin?

I live in South Austin and don't have it, but one of my coworkers who used to live off Justin Lane had it there. The buildout has become spotty and fragmented, and they took the map off their website a few years ago, and won't tell me when they expect to be in my neighborhood.

I also live in Tarrytown, but we don't have it yet. Though they have sent tons of mail saying they're starting work in our area.

That's strange. I wonder why Grande would be so sporadic in close areas. I do live in an apartment complex, so maybe they have an deal with TW and Grande can't service here.

Lots of apartments are locked into a Cable provider, hornfan1977.
You're probably stuck with T/W.

nickadeemus, Why are we not hitting these new subdivisions?
We are bound by our franchise agreements to continue the pace of construction in Austin and San Antonio.
There are no franchise agreements in unincorporated areas that I know of. It depends on the builder.
So, we're getting there, but it takes time.
I would say as a customer and not an employee(legalities) our high speed data kicks Roadrunner's *** in performance.
They limit the amount of network connections on a fiber node.
And, we just doubled our cable modem speeds to all customers free of charge. DWP can maximize his porno database now at 8 MBPS.

We're building fiber to the home now, and the bandwith coming inout of a home is about to go nuclear.
