Grad QB transfer

Eastern Washington QB

The Oregon comments are hilarious. They think we want the QB to sit on our bench so he can't play for them to destroy us, Efffen hilarious. They have no clue. Yeah we grabbed PJ also just to screw with Oregon, lol

That paranoia is humorous indeed!

Friggin' UCLA, go away! There could be some fun battles between the Bruins and Spartans in the next couple of years. Should be fun to watch.

Don't think we are much of a legit choice for him seeing as how he has not visited nor does it seem he plans to. Especially if he may decide on Monday. He looks great, however, and it would be a win to get him.

The "bridge" that someone like Adams could provide cannot be overstated. I really, really hope we can persuade someone of his talent level, or close, to come to the University.

I agree Duke but we may have to throw Heard into the deep end and hope he is the next Teddy "Bridge"water. I'd be good with that! Lose a few early and then go 23-3 or something like that ...

Honestly right now we have 3 options at QB and none have proven they can lead this team to victory at a higher level than last year. Of course Heard or Locksley haven't had a chance to prove one way or another. But the bottom line is they are young, inexperienced on Saturdays, and no one can be sure if they will make the jump to a quality D1 QB starter against legit Big12 competition. If Heard doesn't fare well, we are screwed again for a year with Locksley likely needing time and TS simply not the caliber of QB to take us higher.

I can't see how bringing in a battle tested vet with tremendous energy would hurt us one bit. If he beats out Heard, so be it, the best man wins. I want to win on Saturday now just as much as CS does. Yes, it's important to set up the future, but it's also time to start winning now however we have to find the guys who will take us to that higher level.

Imagine CS heading into the home stretch of the next recruiting cycle with 9 wins in his back pocket and a program with real proof of being on the rise. Not to mention winning most of the games recruits are in town for. I imagine the attraction for top players including the best QB's would become even greater. Especially if our QB was a 5th year player and the new guys would have a real shot to start from Day 1. Not to mention this kid has an energy and burning hunger to win that would definitely rub off and give these younger guys some much needed salt and swagger.

Don't underestimate how much a fiery player can rub off on the others in the QB film room. The guy attacks the game like a hard-hitting safety flying around fired up with no fear. That stuff is highly contagious.

This post was made just before going to the new 2015 platform. Post as normal after it if you wish.

Re: Grad QB transfer

Badass, do you think Oregon is afraid of us? Needs to keep recruits from us?
Why?
