I like him too- and would consider voting for him. I just have one nagging question- why is it he's turning down every single GOP bigshot when being asked to run? Is there something we don't know, or does he really just want to focus on New Jersey for now? He'd be an instant front-runner, so, I'm just curious why he'd turn that down.

Yeah, I'm afraid we miss out completely on the best and the brightest in this country. The position and the process just seems to exclude those people and that's too bad because we could really use the best and the brightest right now.

I think Christie has a chance to prove at a state level that his policies can work. It may take 4 more years until Americans are ready for his blunt style.

On a far more superficial note, I think he needs to lose about 70 lbs. I know that sounds terrible….but let's face it, there are people out there who will subconsciously dismiss him because he is overweight. On top of that it adds to the regular concerns about health. It also does make him look less self-controlled (fair or not). At any rate…..sorry to ramble about his weight because I would vote for him over Obama in a second regardless, but I am thinking as if I was his image director or something.

Look there is no doubt that Barack Obama is a tremendous political force and marketing machine.

I'm just hopeful the the American people are paying attention to his Presidency.

This Debt Ceiling mess was just a disaster on his part, without question. He is simply not a leader.
