Your surfing report:

**The Eddie Aikau is ON at Waimea Bay.**

A little smaller than yesterday but still extra large and potentially dangerous surf rolling in today with much cleaner and better organized conditions. Most spots across the north shore are seeing extremely large waves in the 25-35 foot face value range with some sets on the outer reefs in the 40-45 foot plus range. Sets on the outer reefs are a little inconsistent so it is a little hit and miss with the tow-in potential today. Buoy 1 is steady in the 16 feet @ 17 seconds range so watch for the swell to continue strong throughout the day and slowly begin to drop late tonight into tomorrow. Light tradewinds have returned providing ideal side to offshore conditions for country shorelines. Are there any "normal" swells coming to run the Pipe contest? Check the extended forecast for all the details. FORECAST SUMMARY:
TUESDAY: Dangerous and EXTREMELY large NW groundswell continues, gradually easing over the afternoon. Look for waves in the 30-40' range (on the face) at reefs that can hold the swell. Select standout reefs produce larger 45-50' waves early. Most nearshore spots are washed out and out of control. Expert surfers should exercise extreme caution.

Wax down your boards, surfer dudes, the Eddie Aikau surfing contest is on at Waimea Bay in Hawaii. This contest is only held if surf conditions top 30 feet, and has only been held every few years accordingly.
I believe 28 of the best surfers in the world are invited, and they are at it right now-this will produce great videos of epic rides, can't wait to see some of them.
