I got a computer from a friend to replace my aging pc @ work. It runs XP, and its some generic Comp USA Cisnet flavor. It has been used just a little, and I cleaned up the few files that were on it & updated programs, spybot, etc.
I did not get any disks with it. I was prompted to make disks when I first got it going, but didn't have the right disks. It said I would be prompted to do it again, but it hasn't done it.
So, 2 questions:
1. How do I make the backup disks?
2. What's the easiest/best way to transfer the files, bookmarks, settings, etc.
I'm a retailer, not a computer guy, so please use words with few syllables.
