Google Maps has 'Street Viewed' Austin

They did my street on a cloudy day. And when my Christmas light Bevo was in the front yard.

They must have taken it over the weekend or over spring break because my car was at my parents house and don't even live there. Still very cool.

My wife saw our house on there and was somewhat upset. Thinks it pretty invasive. She said she was glad the blinds were closed. Must have been taken pretty recently, and on a Wednesday, because the trash cans are at the curb.

I wonder how long it took them to do Austin. My house was definitely done back in December or very early January.

i don't know about Street View, but the acutal map in downtown Austin looks to have been done at least 3 years ago, maybe more.

Based on the condition of my bushes and trees (yay my grass was mowed), and a for sale sign on the block, I'd put ours at mid-late last summer. The garage is open and one car is in the driveway and one in the garage so we were both home - I wonder how I missed the google car trolling around?

I saw this little car driving north on Mopac crossing town lake back in December. I looked for their pictures at that location, but I didn't see my car.

I think the satellite views are more than two years old...we had a second community pool put in two summers ago and it isn't in their satellite pics.

My home is on there, but honestly this doesn't bother me as much as people being able to easily look up my home's value on other websites.

They definitely did my street on a Monday because all of our trash bins are out front for collection. At least they'd already been emptied but still, pretty underwhelming look.

i live in right in between cedar park and round rock on 1431, and they covered my street. Must have been in recent months, as my new car is on the street, and i got it in late december

I got mine passing through San Angelo a couple years back.

It shows my partner (although you can't see him) backing his car out of our garage.

If you zoom in enough on our house, the picture looks like it has a "watermark" that says 2007 Google.

Mine actually has two different pictures. On my road looking at my house, the trash can is out. But the view from the street that runs into my house has no trash can and has my car in the driveway.

They haven't covered my current street. However, I checked an old address of mine which has a street # of 1300. They had it as 1228.

Too bad they didn't do it in later Spring...my yard (and my whole neighborhood) is brown and dead-looking in their pics.
