Everyone must now watch all new King of the Hill episodes to get the ratings back up. I personally watch the re-runs but usually don't make time for the new episodes. I am remiss and will correct my error.

I am proud to say that I have never watched an entire episode of American Dad, and I have never missed an episode of King of the Hill.

I saw a story that ABC might pick it KOTH and run it with their new Mike Judge show.

I don't get all the hate for American Dad. The pilot was horrible, but the show is like Family Guy with a semblance of "plot" instead of random gags and '80s references. 'Dad' is the best part of the aging Fox Sunday lineup IMHO.

Yeah, I can't stand Family Guy, but do watch American Dad. Family Guy was funny the first 3 seasons, but it really started to go downhill after that, in my opinion. When they'd have a five minute chunk of the episode just be Meg getting spit on, it lost me - maybe repetitive humor isn't my thing, but who knows.

American Dad actually has a plot, like someone pointed out, which I think makes it enjoyable.

I do love King of the Hill, though - that always gets watched first on the DVR Sunday evening. I hope ABC picks it up - that'd be great!

Simpsons isn't as bad as everyone implies nowadays. It's just that nothing will top its mid-90s seasons, so let's crucify it and get rid of it. And replace it with what?

Never understood why KotH got so much play. I guess because southerners like the downhome references, while northerners like to make fun of southerners. I didn't find it funny at all. Like a neverending Jeff Foxworthy sitcom. Or that newer one with the "Here's Your Sign" Bill guy.
