Why, oh why, do they insist on showing aggies mating after every touchdown? After several martinis, there is hardly anything worse than seeing thousands of scrawny, pimply-faced and very unattractive aggies working the magic. The only saving grace is when, like last night, they catch a little rejection/uneasiness coming from a girl who still has some remaining self determination.

It was not just that. ESPN seemed to make the night devoted to everything aggy. If it wasn't an aggy suckfest, it was the aggy corp turds. If it wasn't the turds, it ws the highlights of the yell ralley. If wasn't the ralley it was the bonfire. Then I'll be damed if if when they ran out of things aggy, they show reruns of Crabtree's catch last year. Its like they were praying for a Florida/TCU macthup.

Craig James' daughter is an aggie so he managed to make this game a dedication to collie station. If it is such a great place to watch a game, why was this the first game at college station on ESPN in 8 years?

Yeah, my group watching got pretty annoyed with all the aggy flattering during the broadcast and the very over-shot views of the cadet smooching his date - enough! we get how aggys kiss their marginally attractive sweeties after they score.

As soon as I saw that Craig James was calling this game, I wanted to ******* hurl. Between his son playing for Tech and his daughters attending aggy, his anti-Texas bias was on full display last night. It was like having Dave South calling the game on TV, only Dave would have been infinitely more entertaining.

It's too bad I was watching the game on a dish at a relative's house last night, or I would have muted the TV and tuned the radio to the Longhorns broadcast instead for the audio.

Oh believe me, it was much worse in the stands. We had to watch video after video of Aggies recalling big victories over UT, of UT players being stuffed and maimed, etc. They actually recapped a 1909 victory over UT - I kid you not.

Meanwhile we had to listen to the silly whoop, and the jackass hand pump -- what ever that is, along with the toilet paper roll move they do. It was all truly pathetic and kind of made me feel sick for them, like they were moronic but egotistical at the same time. They never really seemed to know that we were ahead, and that they were not going to win. They have no clue that we lead the all time series 74-36-5 (now 75-36-5!) and are just so sad. Seeing them kiss just makes you want to look away. A lot of their "traditions" feel forced. Like the standing the entire game bit - that's because the bleacher seats offer about 8 inches of space. It's physically impossible to sit in most cases, when the person next to you is sitting, so most stand, making it impossible to see if you do sit. So, aggie engineering is responsible for that as well.

The most comical piece of aggy delusion at pyle field came in the second half during one of the aggy love fest videos when they proudly displayed that aggy leads the series 18-16 (now 18-17) since 1975.

No mention of the all time ownership of the rivalry or the fact that the Horns have won more times in Pyle than aggy has in the series!!!!!!

Since they only go back to 1975, I guess they do not count their MNC in '39 or their Heisman winner in '57. Spin does have its casualties.

Relax, folks. I don't see how ESPN or any broadcast team is supposed to go to a large university and NOT show unique elements of that school. Aggie is Aggie and Texas is Texas, to each their own. Given the unique nature of the Corps and the 10th anniversary of the bonfire tragedy, it would have been lazy of the ESPN crew to not do a few segments on them. I'm a bit surprised there weren't any exposes on the generations of Reveille.

Granted, BOB, but, damn, enough of the awkward making out. The cameras basically stayed fixed on this one goofy couple the whole game. For those living in other states, there is a real danger they will believe all Texans are skinny dumbasses looking to use a TD as the path to first base.
