Good grass for shade?

So we just moved in this house in sw Austin and most of the back yard has a great st augustine lawn, but part of the yard is really shaded by trees and there is no grass. It stays fairly muddy which is a nightmare with dogs.

Is there any kind of grass that I could plant that does well in the shade? Also something that would take hold this time of year?

In March we planted a new strain called Shadow Turf that was developed by Texas Tech. It takes up to 90% shade. It is growing slower than I had hoped, but it certainly taking the shade that even my St. Augustine could not handle.
