Good Eats near Jones Hall

My wife and I are taking my folks to Jones Hall Friday night. I would like to take them to dinner prior to the show, but I am not very familiar with what is in the area. Any suggestions on a good place that is near by?

If you want a really unique high-end (read expensive) meal, try the Bank Restaurant at the Icon Hotel on Main Street, about a half-mile from Jones.

A more casual, smaller alternative is Mia Bella, also on Main, and even a little closer to Jones.


Before downtown was "revitalized", the traditional pre theatre dinner options were Brennan's and Damian's, two of my favorites. I believe that Damian's even has transportation to and from the theatre. Not sure whether Brennan's does this or not.

If you're folks are "traditionalists", they would definitely enjoy Damian's or Brennan's.
