Good deal on expedition?

Anyone here sell fords? Got a deal on a 05 eddie bauer expedition, dvd, second row captain chairs, 3rd row power seats....msrp 42,345 for 33K drive out...this is brand new so thats about 30,500 selling price plus TTL

I can't confirm that you got a good price, but it sounds like a good deal. I bought a 2004 EB Expedition 4x4 in September for $12,000 off the $44,000 MSRP. I looked all over for this vehicle and also shopped Tahoes. Tahoe prices were several grand more expensive. Since you got a similar $12k reduction off MSRP, and your MSRP is lower than my vehicle, I would say you did well.

Are you happy with it? i did the same thing looking at tahoes which are indeed more for some reason...

are you leasing or buying? I was going to buy but want to check leasing first....where can residual values be found ?

I bought rather than leased since I tend to keep vehicles for a long time. I can't really say yet whether I like the Expedition because I only have 2000 miles on it. The Tahoe has a better engine,but the Expedition is more up-to-date in most other areas. I'll know more about the Expedition after this summer when I take it to Idaho for a lot of off road driving. That is why I bought it.
