Good back-up program?

Curious if anyone has a good back-up program to recommend? I'm using the embedded version that came with my Windows Vista HP edition, and I'm not really a fan. Not many options and - not surprisingly - can be a little fussy when I try to use it. Backing up to an external WD hard drive.

Acronis TrueImage Home v11 works well for me.
Costs about $36 from NewEgg.
Works with XP and Vista.

Cobian is very reliable. Compresses using zip so you can decompress on any machine.
