I heard a lot of good and bad about this movie starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. The movie is based on a novel which depicts a fictional account of an incident like the Laci Peterson case; a beautiful young wife (Pike) just disappears without a trace one day. Initially everyone is supportive of the husband (Affleck), but as the investigation drags on, Affleck becomes the main suspect.
With a runtime of 2 hours and 29 minutes, it's a long movie, but I gotta say I didn't ever find myself glancing at my watch. The are a lot of twists and turns leading to a controversial ending which a lot of people seem to hate. I thought the ending was clever.
I thought that this is one of the more entertaining movies I've seen lately. I suppose that I'd categorize it as an erotic thriller. There's plenty of Sex and just seeing Emily Ratajkowski, who has a very small role, semi nude was worth the price of admission for me.
